PARANOIDANDROID Battery

Some of you really concern about battery. Before installing any new custom ROM, the first question you will ask. How's the battery?

How about PA battery? I will show a few battery screens history of mine.

Getting better after a few cycles.... normal usage... fb, twitter, email, tapatalk, taking photo and browse internet. I don't play games :)

More than enough...

No heavy drain over the night...

Note:
Battery life base on your usage and battery age. My advice. DON'T ASK! Just install and compare from your previous ROM. Everybody have diff phone usage.

If you ask gamers. Their battery might stand for 1-2 hours only.
If you ask youtubers. Their battery might stand 4-5 hours.
If you ask normal users. Their battery might stand 6-8 hours.
If you ask flashers. Their battery last forever :) hehehehehe.....

Disable Samsung Bloatware. Application List

If you are looking for application list to disable for your Android Jelly Bean, check out image below. Disable it so that you could enable it if required.

This will speedup your phone and save battery life...because some of it running at the background.

Save to DISABLE android Jelly Bean application list.

How to Disable it?
1. Goto Settings > Application Manager
2. Goto [ALL] tab
3. Select app to disable/uninstall
4. DONE!

Disable it. Enable it if you would like to use it later.

Note:
-To completely uninstall it use Titanium Backup

N7000ZSLM5 Battery and Performance

My ZSLM5 battery life is acceptable. No heating. Faster than ICS and smoother. No bootloop. No FCs. Stable like XXLSA.

Note:
I had disable most of the Samsung Bloatware

2 hours screen- Acceptable battery usage

You can use your phone half-day without charging it. As for me normal usage phone call, whatsapp, facebook and reading XDA, flipboard, youtube and browser..

What can I say. WOW! Good stand-by....

12m screens means...I have a good sleep :)

19 hours......no problemo.....

23hours...

Antutu benchmark....how about it? For me the performance good enough for daily usage.

XXLSA Battery

XXLSA battery life.... If you keep wondering whether XXLSA is good or bad.

No FC except Google+ Instant Upload setting.

Most of the apps removed. I'm not using it.

Minimized you running apps

Removed system apps...sometime called Samsung BLOATWARE....

If you are worried that you might need it later. You may disable it.

XXLSA Battery, Memory and Bugs

If you keep wondering how's battery life and memory of XXLSA.. Some claim bugs or FC. I will try to log as many as I can.

Actually each phone battery and memory usage depend on the personal phone apps installed and usage. Most of the phone facing FCs due to NOT clean installation (flash on top of previous ROM) or restoring previous apps and data via Titanium Back-up. Some apps might have in-compatibility data format between firmware version. Apps should ready for JB as well and need to be upgraded.

Frequent cases. Most of the XDA users like to flash extra MOD (flash-able CWM file for extra features) and some not even for XXLSA. This might cause problem and memory leaking as well..so you should know what's you are doing and be prepared to back-up necessary APK/config before flashing MODs. You will always see people asking for original APK. Asking for Camera.APK, Contacts.APK or SecSetting.APK, Stock Theme, etc...
