Quick Tips. Bootloop

Bootloop can easily be fixed by reboot in recovery and clear user data and reboot.

Just make sure to backup your stuff first before flashing. Use cloud if possible.

Cloud services such as Google for contact, email, Picasaweb, Google+ and calendar. Dropbox and Evernote for document.

How to ROOT+CWM Galaxy Note. CF-Root

ZergRush Exploit is the safest way to ROOT. NO MORE DESKTOP ODIN

Note:
- CF-Root added CWM as and extra than basic ZergRUSH ROOT exploit

Download CF Root Flasher. You just need "zImage" of the specific kernel (KJ6 or KK1, etc..)

Two batch files available. "already-rooted.bat" and "not-rooted-yet.bat". You should know your phone status. New phone from factory mean not-rooted.

The folder instruction should be good enough. Extract zImage and copy to the folder.

Download specific kernel here.

TODO
1. Extract ZIP and TAR until you see the "zImage" file.
2. Copy zImage to zImage folder
3. Run "not-rooted-yet.bat"
4. DONE.

Getting rid of ODIN to ROOT

The Samsung Galaxy Note keeps track of the kind of kernel you are running (stock or custom) and how often you have flashed kernels. This is probably for warranty purposes. There is currently no known way to reset this counter on the SGN.

So, what we want to do is get root, busybox, and CWM, all without getting that ugly yellow triangle or updating the flash counter on our device.

Luckily and Thanks to DoomLord who found the zergRush Exploit. zergRush use ADB to copy/install Root and BusyBox to your phone...it will not touch your kernel..

We need to get rid of ODIN pretty much completely, and we can! Use this!

Getting rid of ODIN
This is easy. Find ODIN, and delete it. In the future you should only need it to flash bootloaders, which probably will only really be needed one time: when upgrading from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich.
