What plan and how much exactly I have to pay monthly for 24 Month?

If currently you are paying your phone bill RM150 monthly. It would be worth it. If currently you are paying below RM100 monthly. You might need to think back.

Look like it's a good offer. Continue reading Maxis offer here.

You might look at Celcom offer, but it seems a bit expensive. Celcom offer here.
Look at the number of FREE Gear....

Digi do not want to miss this Galaxy Note 3 as well. Look at here

And what's Digi tell you about the FREE GEAR? Valid while stock last.... huhuhuhhu.. You will never know!

Lastly, look at uMobile

Basically all telco offer almost the same. Monthly commitment and 24 months contacts. You just need to think of the best coverage and the area that most of the time you are staying. Your selected telco have 4G? You have LTE phone but no 4G coverage..... mmmmmm...

If you would like to buy without plan, look for model that suit you:

APN setting using APN Manager

After flashing new ROM, most of the time, your APN will be deleted. You will not be able to browse internet if you turn off your WiFi (to test your APN). Means your mobile will not be able to connect via 3G/2G network. No worry....check out steps below for our Malaysian friends :)

Use APN Manager to backup and restore your APN setting. Download here. FREE from android.market

Download APN setting here
  1. Maxis Malaysia
  2. Celcom Malaysia (Thanks to Azam Azimi www.azamnecrone.com)
Extract ZIP file and copy the folder and "ApnBackup.xml" file into your phone SD card.

Note:You are welcome to submit your "ApnBackup.xml" to jjamain@yahoo.com. Please stated telco name. Tq

Run APN Manager. Click on [Backup & Restore]
Click [Restore]. APN Manager will restore your APN Setting.
Note: It's takes 3-5 minutes to load. Please wait.....

For Maxis. Once DONE you should have something like this. Hope this would help you. You don't have to manually key in the APN setting.

Note: Maxis Malaysia user. To get your APN just call 123, listen to the instruction or key in 121. After a few seconds, Maxis will SMS the APN to your phone. But, it will send Maxis 3G setting only. You will not be able to switch to 2G for battery saving.
Tested. It works. Thanks Seng Wai

Don't worry be SCARY. by Max$i$

Do you know that you will be charged to the maximum by Maxi$ if you exceed the quota limit?? This is what happen to my two accounts.

Can you pay, if they charged you like this??

72MB exceed. Need to pay RM250. Too much!!!

This is all happen due to using smartphone in the area where's no WiFi. Your smartphone will use 3G for data access..... so, do you need to worry and SCARY???

Digi exceed limit FAQs. Click here and click on FAQs

Q10 What happens if I exceed the usage limit?
A10 The speed after exceeding the usage limit will be throttled down.
However, you won't be charged for your additional usage.

Note: This is my personal observation and opinion. I'm not being paid by DiGi :)

Edit 20-09-2011: Maxis going to waive RM250 in my next bill. Can't believe it.... smiley :)

Do you think Malaysia government plan for broadband will be success??
