How to install?
1. Extract the ZIP file and copy the .md5 file from your computer into your phone.
2. Load "N7000XXLRG_N7000DBTLRG_N7000XXLRB_HOME.tar.md5" using Mobile Odin.
-DO NOT WIPE DATA and CACHE
-Check MD5 just to make sure your file not corrupted
3. Flash firmware... DONE. Sit back and relax.
You will get this at the end of the process. Android 4.0.4
Root, installed applications and data un-touch. NO WIPE version. YES!
Seems like more items displayed inside Settings >Account sync
New button icon for Restart.... mmmmmm... ok la...

ReplyDeleteThru Odin on Windows. Able to boot into recovery and run the zip. But halfway the phone somewhat refresh and the cwm screen is shown, but in a larger fonts. Only able to press one button step (either up or down) and the it refresh itself. Encountered this before?
ReplyDeleteIf you are using PC ODIN you should load the MD5 file as PDA (extract the ZIP file first).
DeleteNo re-partition or whatever. It's an-upgrade and no-wipe.
I'm not using PC ODIN for a long time, since I have mobile odin. PC odin on some firmware version might get you yellow triangle.
Sorry. I think I mis-understood. I think you try to ROOT it.

Get mobile odin pro. Root will not be removed after upgrade.

Hi all. Would like to highlight that the easy rooting method may have an outdated copy of busybox that cause error in some root apps. Suggest to update using busybox installer from market after rooting.

DeleteWith PC Odin or Mobile Odin you could load any latest official release firmware around the world. You dont have to wait for specific release for your country.
Europe and Hong Kong always get the latest.
Make sure your phone model is GT-N7000 (Setting > About)

Kalau KIES pun tak ada. upgrade guna PC ODIN. Load 4.0.3 dulu lepas tu 4.0.4. Ambil yg DX sahaja (Malaysia). Dia akan upgrade tanpa format.

ReplyDeleteI have followed above steps to upgrade but I some how after finished flashing using ODIN pro, my phone could not completely start up. It keeps showing the "Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000" again and again. Is it normal (installation process is taking place) or what/ Kindly help me asap.. I tried to remove a battery but still the same after pressing the on button..
have you check MD5. your file might be corrupted or boot in back into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik.

after follow all steps...then, my hp on seperti biasa..but
after i press code utk simcard lock,
terus appear 'network lock control key'
i hantar samsung centre, but dia ckp my note set AP, then..after a few minutes, dia ckp tak boleh buat apa2 sebab AP set and kena hantar semula ke tempat beli..
but orang yg bagi tu, dah tak jumpa dah..so i dun know nak hantar ke mana lagi dah...now, i just can online internet using wifi...hp can't detect my simcard/network...
i dah reset my hp..but still same..
