Please update your Galaxy Note firmware (Malaysian user)
What should I do?
Go to Settings > About
Click on Software Update
Click on Update
You will be notify to download it via WiFi. Click on Download
Click on Install. New firmware will be installed and your phone will be rebooted.
After reboot. You will get this. N7000DXKK1.
N7000= Galaxy Note
DX=Malaysia
KK1=Version
New firmware. Previous firmware screen,
click here
Note: All the drawing using S-Pen on Galaxy Note.
- To do screen capture, Click on the S-Pen button, tap screen and hold.
Hai, i also brought this monster last friday. Can i ask u question, why we need update firmware? any issue if we upgrade or not upgrade it..

my phone does not support arabic Language i want to install the arabice kernel but i can not find it please if you can send a ling for softwear suporting arabic on my mail.

Hi. I bought my samsung galaxy note here in saudi arabia and when i clicked on software update, the content is shown in arabic language even if my settings are in the english language. How do i get to view the contents in english as I don't read arabic? Pls. help. thank you.

DeleteWhat do you mean the content? You mean the instruction?
If you would like to have it in English, you may change the language to English inside settings>Language and input.
Thanks Jamain. My current firmware is 2.3.6. The Terms and conditions that i need to read and accept are all in arabic. Same as the Private Policy statements. My language settings are in English. Can i find and obtain the firmware update from the PC and transfer it via usb cable to my note? Thanks in anticipation.
