How to install 2.3.5 I9000XXJVT

I will show you how to install I9000XXJVT

1. Download I9000XXJVT and extract the ZIP file
2. Download ODIN
3. Get your phone in download mode (Power+Volume Down+Home button)

4. Run ODIN
5. Put in all the extracted files as shown in the image (click on the image to enlarge).
  • PIT=s1_odin_20100512.pit
  • PDA=CODE_I9000XXJVT_CL617736_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5
  • PHONE=MODEM_I9000XXJVT_REV_00_CL1064602.tar.md5
  • CSC=GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJVT.tar.md5
Note: Checked re-partition. All your apps will be deleted. Your data files still on the SD Card.
6. Connect your phone to USB cable. Click START button. Sit back and relax :)
DONE.
This is what you should have.
I'm going to continue testing and will post the screens after the break....

Note: Good practise. Factory reset once done. This will make your phone as new coming out from factory :) Useful for ROOTING process later.

    Had downloaded the file and I noticed that there are 2 CSC files. Wud be glad if you cud advise.. :)

    The other csc file is GT-I9000-CSC-HOME-MULTI-OXAJVT.tar.md5. Smaller size.

    in bigger csc they will added music files,some of videos and wallpapers rest are same in both

    I choose the bigger CSC file size. should be more features available.

    JVT is leaked ROM. Unofficial from samsung, It should be bug fix version :)

    Most of the leak I9000 ROM can be installed via ODIN. You have to kill all KIES process inside Task Manager.

    KIES USB driver sometime very troublesome. Always getting mess up and fail to detect device. I have uninstalled KIES since using ODIN :) . So far ODIN never fail to detect my USB COM port.

    boleh aje..tapi tak clean la...kalau tak de ape2, masuk stock via odin..factory reset then masuk semaphore...baru clean..
